After the Kent State Shootings: Bowling Green State University's Reaction

I understand you did an excellent job in keeping
things below the boiling point last week at BGSUBowling Green State University, and the
stories I've read in the newspapers about Bowling GreenBowling Green State University
certainly support this.

Your efforts and ability are deeply appreciated.
Not only for last week but for your entire time in office.

I hope you and Jean will find satisfaction in
Florida, but someday return to northwestern Ohio.

You were most kind to take the trouble to write. I
have done my best for your alma mater though the fact of
our ability to stay open has led some to believe that we
sold out to an imagined radical group. I suppose it will
always be thus, however.

Again, thanks for your best wishes and continued
support.
