After the Kent State Shootings: Bowling Green State University's Reaction

Just a note of appreciation from
the parents of a daughter who is
about to graduate from Bowling
GreenBowling Green State University next month.

Naturally we have followed the
events of the past two weeks on
the various campuses with some
apprehension, especially since we have a
son attending Ohio State University.

May we say that we are most
grateful for the constructive
approach you have taken with the

many problems facing you at
this time.

does make us feel that you
are sincerely concerned about
our sons and daughters who
are attending B.G.S.U.Bowling Green State University

from the University. The openness and understanding of the parents dur-
ing the recent disturbances on campus have been most refreshing. We are
delighted that this letter relieved some of your anxiety, and hope it assured
you of our deep conviction to maintain a peaceful and educational atmosphere
on the Bowling GreenBowling Green State University campus.
