The A. V. Shirk Political Collection consists of booklets, pamphlets, and other political materials produced in the 1940s-1970s (the bulk produced in the 1960s). These political printed materials were created for, about, and distributed by right-wing and left-wing organizations. Most of the materials were collected on The Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio.

This collection is minimally processed but it is available for research upon request.
