Dear Folks

It has certainly been some spell
since I have had a chance to write. I am
not putting it off any when the opportun-
ity comes, as you may judge by this
stationery. The shortage will only be for
a day or two I hope. I been getting the
letters from Aunt Irene in pretty good
time and one from Winnifred. At the
time of her writing she only had twenty
five
more days in training so she
will probably be somewhere else before
a letter could reach her. Maybe she
will be in some camp combating

to come. When I was transferred to
this outfit I didn't get any mail for
a long time and it nearly made

still in bad shape then yet. Day before
yesterday
I got a letter from Glen dated
Aug.August 8. I got one letter from Aunt Irene
saying that Lieut.Lieutenant W.V.W. was up over
Sunday. I could not understand. In a
week or so I got one saying that he
was located at Camp Perry. You see
the order in which these letters arrive
make things a bit tangling sometimes.
I expect to write Don as soon as I can
get something to write on. My chances
