Dear Dad and Sister

I hope this finds
you all well and good
weather for spring work
we are in a new camp
up near Tours Gene (Jane)
it is some place I guess
they have trucks automobiles
and airplanes of every makes
in the U.S. or Europe we
can walk for miles and
see nothing but trucks,
we had a dandy trip
drove Ford light delivery
loaded with salvage.

and gasoline and oil
We were on the road
only four days when
we were up in the mtmountain
it sure did get cold.
drove through one foot of
snow it is warmer here
I guess it rains all the
time here it is sandy
and a good many
pine trees. we move from
here in a few days they
tell us but we do not
know if it is true. I think
by the way we are lineinglining
up the trucks they are
going to have a sale

They have a good many
trailorstrailers the cleveland
seems to be a dandy
for a small farm the
best I have ever seen
easilyeasy to handle and plenty
of power. they have some
the same type with
a liberty motor which is
much better but i dontdon't
think a person could
buy one they sure
are better than horses
save money on the same
investment. If a man
had plenty of money he
sure could make

some profit on this salvag esalvage
sale. have you heard from
Earl lately I have not.
Where is Clayton I expect
he is home by now
We are having pretty good
eats now but do not know
how long it will last.
I expect you see Ruth and
Guy and children every few
days I hope they are all
well. I expect by the time
you get this you folks will
have nearly all spring
work done. we were
supposed to come home
in FebFebruary but now I guess

will not get home untilluntil
next winter they sure
have plenty of work for
the motor transfer corpescorps
to do yet I think we
may be moved from one
camp to another and help
to clean them all up
I have driven nearly every
make of car and some
sure are dandy they have
a good many Fiat here
a couple of thousand in
this one camp I do not
have time to write to
all of the folks so tell
Uncle Wilbur as soon
