Nappy Brown Alternate Takes Collection

 Collection
Identifier: MUSIC-083
Scope and Contents Collection consists of a single open reel tape containing several takes of items from Brown's album Nappy Brown Sings (1957). Collection also contains paper documentation from the Beltone Recording Corporation for Savoy Records documenting these takes and the takes presumably used for the commercial release. The documentation indicates these items were originally recorded on several separate reels; it is unclear if this reel contains the original tapes spliced together or dubs of the takes...
Dates: Creation: Recorded on June 1, 1955 and September 29, 1955.
