Introduction	The .33 cubic feet of material in this collection was donated to the HCGL by Thomas G. Salvner of Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2014. Literary and property rights were donated to the public. Photocopying is permitted for purposes of conservation and research.
Scope and Content	This .33 cubic foot collection is composed of 766 35 mm photographic slides of Great Lakes Vessels. These slides were taken from 1980 to 1993 by William P. Roest in various locations around the Great Lakes, in both the United States and Canada. A large number of the slides were taken in the Soo area or on the St. Mary’s River near Round Island or Lime Island. The slides are arranged alphabetically in three binders.
