|Agency History||LGBT outreach and support organizations have existed on the BGSU campus since the early 1970s. Initially called the Bowling Green Gay Liberation, formed in 1972, the group was re-activated in 1975 as the Gay Union. Later the group reorganized and changed its name to Choice in February 1982. Around 1999, the organization re-emerged as Vision, which became the Queer and Trans Student Union in fall 2017.|
|Scope and Content||This collection documents some of the work and activities of Vision from 1998-2017. It includes bylaws, officer information, outreach materials such as fliers and event posters, newspaper clippings, and two scrapbooks. Also included are some materials related to other LGBTQ organizations such as HUE (Honoring, Urging, Empowering Queer People of Color).|
