Introduction | The Peter Haack Collection consists of approximately 0.8 linear feet of manuscript materials. The collection was donated to the Browne Popular Culture Library by Peter Haack in 1994. This collection is unprocessed, but may be accessed by contacting the BPCL reference email. The collection has no restrictions placed on its use for scholarly purposes. Researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works found in this collection. |

Scope and Content | The collection includes bibliographic materials related to the publishing output of Anchor Books. Lists that illustrate book numbers, titles, authors, and illustrators are included. Also included are correspondence materials related to an attempt to write a history of Anchor Books. A card file provides the most detailed information on each volume published by Anchor Books. |
