Biographical Sketch | Jack Bickham (1930-1997) was an American author who wrote more than 75 novels, hundreds of short stories, and several books on the craft of writing. He was also a prolific reviewer of books, and served as a professor at the University of Oklahoma's H.H. Herbert School of Journalism. Bickham also wrote under the pseudonyms John Miles and Jeff Clifton. |
Scope and Content | The collection includes manuscripts for several novels by Jack Bickham, as well as reviews written by Bickham and published and unpublished short stories. The novels represented include Miracleworker, Tiebreaker, Breakpoint, Add Out, Breakfast at Wimbledon, Dropshot, Warrior Song, and Missing at Ten O' Clock. Of particular interest for researchers may be the files for Breakfast At Wimbledon, which include multiple drafts and research materials. |
