The collection was donated to the Browne Popular Culture Library by Robert Presnell, Jr. in 1974. This collection is unprocessed, but may be accessed by contacting the BPCL reference email. The collection has no restrictions placed on its use for scholarly purposes. Biographical Sketch | Robert Presnell, Jr. (1914-1986) was an American writer of radio, TV and movie scripts. He was the son of screenwriter Robert Presnell, Sr. and husband of actress Marsha Hunt. Presnell wrote and directed radio shows from the 1930s through the 1950s before turning to television, where he became best known. He wrote scripts for shows as varied as Twilight Zone, Banacek, The Virginian, and Rich Man, Poor Man, Book II. He published a novel titled Edgell's Island in 1951 |
