The collection was donated to the Browne Popular Culture Library by William Fadiman in 1975 and 1989. This collection is unprocessed, but may be accessed by contacting the BPCL reference email. The collection has no restrictions placed on its use for scholarly purposes. Researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works found in this collection. |
Biographical Sketch | William Fadiman (1909 - 1999) was a longtime Hollywood story editor, critic, writer and producer. Fadiman taught screenwriting at UCLA and the American Film Institute and wrote three books, Hollywood Now, Shivering in the Sun and The Clay Oscar. |
