Introduction | The Gail Shelton Collection contains handwritten and typed literary manuscripts for one of the author’s works, written under the pen name Gail Dayton. The materials were donated by Gail Shelton in 2004. There are no restrictions placed on the collection for scholarly use, however all copyright and related interests remain with the author or her assigns. Biographical Sketch | Gail Shelton, writing as Gail Dayton, is an award-winning author of romance, fantasy, fantasy romance and steampunk romance novels. Her first book, Hide-And-Sheikh, was published in 2002 and was a RITA Award finalist. She has been the author or co-author of more than 15 books in multiple genres, and is the author of the One Rose and Blood Magic trilogies. | |||||||||||||||||||||
Scope and Content | This collection contains handwritten and typed manuscripts for a book called Rescue Me, as well as notes taken by the author. The book received a major revision and was published as Her Convenient Millionaire in 2003.
