PCL MS 172 Kristine Rolofson Collection

Introduction

The Kristine Rolofson Collection consists of literary manuscripts donated by the author. The works were donated to the Browne Popular Culture Library in 1998. There are no restrictions placed on the collection for scholarly use, however researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works. The finding aid was completed by Manuscripts & Outreach Archivist Steve Ammidown in July 2016.

Biographical Sketch

Kristine Rolofson is the author or co-author of more than 40 contemporary romance novels, often focused on ranch life. She is the author of the series Boots & Booties, Boots & Beauties, Montana Matchmakers, and Willing to Wed.  She is the winner of several awards, including the HOLT Medallion. She divides her time between Texas, Idaho, and Rhode Island. 

Scope and Content

The collection includes undated manuscripts for several of Rolofson’s novels: The Texan Takes a Wife, The Bride Rode West, The Next Man in Texas, and Pillow Talk. Galley proofs are included for The Bride Rode West and The Next Man in Texas, The Texan Takes a Wife, and The Valentine Town.
