Introduction | The Martha Cotter Kirkland Collection consists of literary manuscripts donated by the author. The works were donated to the Browne Popular Culture Library in 1998. There are no restrictions placed on the collection for scholarly use, however researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works. The finding aid was completed by Manuscripts & Outreach Archivist Steve Ammidown in July 2016. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Biographical Sketch | Author Martha Cotter Kirkland has written more than 30 novels, mostly in the Regency romance subgenre. She is a lifelong resident of Atlanta, and has been both a teacher and classically trained singer. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Scope and Content | The collection consists of a copy edited book manuscript for the novel A Woman of Passion, a partial manuscript for A Gentleman’s Deception, and a galley proof for The Noble Nephew. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
