PCL MS 208 April Kihlstrom Collection

The April Kihlstrom Collection consists of four linear feet of literary manuscripts and related materials such as author’s notes and promotional matter. There are no restrictions placed on this collection for scholarly purposes. Copyright of all materials is retained by the author or her assigns, and researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works. The materials were donated by April Kihlstrom in 2004. The finding aid was completed by Manuscripts and Outreach Archivist Steve Ammidown in July 2016.

April Kihlstrom is an author primarily working the Regency romance subgenre. She has written more than 40 books, including the series Miss Tibbles, The Westcotts, and The Langfords. She has also written a number of books for children based on the adventures of her dog, Sophy. Ms. Kihlstrom is also a writing coach and teaches an approach known as “Book in a Week.”

This collection contains 4 linear feet of literary manuscripts, representing 32 of April Kihlstrom’s novels. The materials for each novel include manuscripts, author’s notes, and promotional matter such as cover proofs.
