And having a fine time gee but me do have some time believ me. I got a letter from Alice the other day There is going to be a show in El Paso to morrow I guess maybe I will go down at night. I am not drilling now day I am helping put up a mess hall to eat in Have got the foundation down. It is 20 by 60 ft. So you can see it is some building[.] Hope you heard from Mich. Oh yes you can send me a nice box it takes about 5 to 6 days for a box to come. We have a good show in the open every night. The band play every night to It is playing now. We are going to play ball to morrow Gee we have some games believe me. Gee we have some rain storm now. It does not rain it just pours. Mother you should write to me again and more often. I am fine and having a good time We go down town most every night Got so I know El Paso like a book. We have play two game of foot ball I am playing half back now Gee but it is fun We have not lost a game yet We beat the first game 0 to 7 and the last game 63 to 0 I made five touch down in the last game We are going to play again to morrow or the next day We have got a lot of the team that got hurt But we have a lot to pick from. I do not know when we will be home. But expect it any time now. But may be down here all winter Can not tell nothing about it. Gee but we have bad to cold night and they say it is the coldest it has been for seven years. I suppose my big brother in laws are busy with there corn now day. Well how do you like Michigan since it has gone dry. And how do you like Wilson I cant say much be cause I think the both of them are know good I think Wilson had better get busy on this Mexican border or he will have his foot in something. If he does not want war why don't he send us home. or let let us cross the border. Well Mother I will pick you out a nice little ford when I get back. How bout it.
