PCL MS 226 Megan Hart Collection

The Megan Hart Collection consists of 0.4 linear feet of literary manuscripts, including short stories and novels, by the author. The materials were donated by Megan Hart in 2016. There are no restrictions placed on the collection for scholarly use, however all copyright and related interests remain with the author or her assigns. The collection was processed and the finding aid completed by Steve Ammidown, Manuscripts & Outreach Archivist, in August 2016.

The Julie Kenner Collection contains approximately 2 linear feet of literary manuscripts and associated materials for 8 works by the author.  The materials date approximately from 1999-2002. The materials were donated by Julie Kenner in 2005. PCL MS 214 Patricia McLinn Collection

The Patricia McLinn Collection contains approximately 9 linear feet of literary manuscripts and research materials for more than 20 works by the author.  The materials date approximately from 1991-2004. The materials were donated by Patricia McLinn in 2007. There are no restrictions placed on the collection for scholarly use, however all copyright and related interests remain with the author or her assigns. The collection was processed and the finding aid completed by Steve Ammidown, Manuscripts & Outreach Archivist, in August 2016.


PCL MS 210 Virginia Myers Collection

Virginia Myers is an American writer of contemporary and inspirational romance fiction. Four original typescripts of her works and correspondence with publishers, editors, and literary agents among others compromise the core of this collection.

Virginia Myers transferred her manuscripts to the Popular Culture Library, Bowling Green State University, in September 1998 and November 1999. The collection is open for research, but photocopying or other duplication of manuscripts must comply with applicable copyright laws. This finding aid was compiled by Debbie Chimahusky under the supervision of Jean Geist, Popular Culture Library Associate in April 1999. The finding aid was updated by Steve Ammidown, Manuscripts & Outreach Archivist in August 2016 with help from Loran Ramm, Student Assistant.


PCL MS 171 Peggy Moreland Collection

The Peggy Moreland Collection consists of literary manuscripts donated by the author. There are no restrictions placed on this collection for scholarly purposes. Copyright of all materials is retained by the author or her assigns, and researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works. The materials were donated to the Browne Popular Culture Library in 1998. The finding aid was completed by Manuscripts and Outreach Archivist Steve Ammidown in July 2016.

The Debbi Quattrone Collection consists of literary manuscripts donated by the author. The works were donated to the Browne Popular Culture Library in 1998. There are no restrictions placed on the collection for scholarly use, however researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works. PCL MS 172 Kristine Rolofson Collection

The Kristine Rolofson Collection consists of literary manuscripts donated by the author. The works were donated to the Browne Popular Culture Library in 1998. There are no restrictions placed on the collection for scholarly use, however researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works. The finding aid was completed by Manuscripts & Outreach Archivist Steve Ammidown in July 2016.


PCL MS 218 Emilie McGee

The Emilie McGee Manuscript Collection contains materials for 48 of her 60 published works. The collection consists primarily of manuscripts, but notes and a detailed synopsis are available for select works. This collection was donated to the Browne Popular Culture Library by Emilie McGee in May of 2012, with additional materials received in June of the same year. All documents are available for research, but photocopying or other duplication of manuscripts must comply with applicable copyright laws. This register was completed by intern Matt Kilmer in February, 2014.


PCL MS 160 Jayne Ann Krentz Collection

The Jayne Ann Krentz Collection consists of 1/4 linear feet and contains many of her personal works, publicity materials, articles, an audio script, and personal accomplishments/awards. The collection centers on Jayne Ann Krentz’s mission to mainstream Romance Literature and Popular Fiction, literary forms that historically have been criticized for not being "realistic" and "meaningful." Krentz believes that Romance Literature should be mainstreamed into society as a study of ancient heroic virtues that celebrate the heroic aspects of both feminine and masculine genders and the healing power of love.

The collection was donated by Jayne Ann Krentz through a series of installments in 1997, 1999, and 2002. There are no restrictions placed upon the use of this collection for scholarly purposes. The collection is open for research; however, photocopying of manuscripts must comply with applicable copyright laws. Researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works authored by Jayne Ann Krentz . The collection was arranged and described by Annie Rose Land June 2013.


PCL MS 198 Shirley T. Hailstock Collection

The Shirley T. Hailstock Collection is comprised of approximately 3 linear feet of documents that date from 1995-2000. The collection consists primarily of edited manuscripts, galleys, editor correspondence and one mounted promotional poster for the novel Clara's Promise.

Shirley T. Hailstock transferred her collection to the Browne Popular Culture Library at Bowling Green State University in May 2001. The collection has no restrictions placed on its use for scholarly purposes. Researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works, whether authored by Shirley T. Hailstock or by other writers whose works may be found in this collection.

PCL MS 174 Becky Barker Collection

The Becky Barker Collection is 2.5 cubic feet of documents dating from 1986 - 2003. Becky Barker transferred her collection to the Browne Popular Culture Library, Bowling Green State University, in October 1998 with additional donations in 1999, 2003, and 2004. The collection has no restrictions placed on its use for scholarly purposes. Researchers are responsible for securing copyright permission when using all unpublished manuscripts and published works, whether authored by Becky Barker or other writers whose works may be found in this collection.

This finding aid was prepared by Mary Koslovsky in November 2005.
