|Title||Hayes Hall Computer Lab 020 Closed|
|Description||Hayes Hall Computer Lab 020 was closed during the COVID-19 pandemic. This instructional lab was not open for general use. The lab is located in the basement of Hayes Hall and was often used for Computer Science Labs and occasionally by the Code 4 Her student organization. The lab features mostly Dell all in one desktops running Windows. I’d like a lab with more modern hardware and better keyboards with the computers running GNU/Linux, but it’s good for what it is.|
Earlier in the 2020 spring semester, the first Computer Science department sanctioned Bowling Green State University Hackathon occurred primarily in here and the lounge across the hallway. That event started on February 22nd at 6PM and ended midday on February 23rd. It is rare that the University allowed for overnight events, but the hard work and energy that happened in this room that night is unforgettable. Now it sits empty, waiting for that energy to return.
