Description | Spent my savings when I got COVID-19, and the university support systems weren't there for me. Got $25, which ain't even mind cause I'm in debt for services rendered. Can't afford new masks. Can't afford rent. Can't afford a birthday present for mom. My clients ain't paying anymore, and if they paid this wouldn't be a problem. Places won't hire me because I'm about to graduate, but a job three months from now doesn't pay the bills. Job shortage my arse. My friends owe me money for covering them, but they're in the same boat. The Free Food program is a farce. My family will disown me if I take a handout. The insurance bandits are coming soon. Guess I gotta buy a gown I can't afford for graduation too. Everyone around me is wearing clean clothes, drinking fancy coffee, and living it up, mask below their noses, because they don't know how painful it is. |
