With the exception of George Floyd and Stone Foltz, there haven't been many protests on campus during the pandemic. Those protests were also vastly different in format and aim.
Today there was a pre-pandemic style protest (At least the local pre-pandemic style protest) going on in the Union Oval.

The International Society of Krishna Consciousness set up a desk by the Union Oval for earth day. Most participants that day were outside, as the weather was nice, and it's safer from COVID-19.

An ad for Live & Loud chalked by the Union Oval. Online events still need advertised, and with how saturated inboxes have gotten, people are resorting to live promotion again.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they shovel snow on campus. It's better than the alternative. However having these steep banks makes it tough to social distance by dipping into the grass. It makes it much more critical to dodge the people who won't give appropriate space.

The bicycle has apparently stayed put for several months, snow covering it. I sincerely hope the owner is well. If this weren't a pandemic, I would simply assume neglect. Yet now it's a sobering possibility. Memento mori.
