Abstract

Collection of ephemera from various Bowling Green residents used during the two World Wars and the Civil War. Collection includes a sugar purchase certificate addressed to an unknown person, ice coupons (in 10, 20, 50, and 100 lbs. denominations) and accompanying booklet addressed to R. A. Sutton, sales tax stamps (in 1, 3, 6, and 15 cent denominations), postage stamps from the Confederate States during the Civil War, a liquor purchase record addressed to Larie D. Schaufler, and a certificate of war risk insurance addressed to Basil Deamer Hugh Craun.
