Scope and Contents

This collection consists of a set of glass lantern slides of Great Lake shipping activities. The bulk of the images are of Cleveland Harbor and the Cuyahoga River, but some were also taken in the Duluth area. The slides were originally owned by the donor's father, but it is unknown whether he created the photographs, or if they are from a pre-created set offered for sale by Eastman Kodak.
