Biographical / Historical

Richard L. Lane (1927-1987) was a professor of English and Fellow of The Center for Great Plains Studies at the University of Nebraska. He taught coursesin Chaucer, Shakespears, History of the English Language, Literature of the American West, and Science Fiction. Lane was a passionate collector of all things popular culture, and donated many comic books, games, and periodcials to the Browne Popular Culture Library over the years.
