Abstract
The American Lung Association collection documents from 1920 to 1979 the progress of local health association campaigns against tuberculosis and respiratory diseases. Through the sale of Christmas seals, sponsoring of chest x-rays, and supporting public health education programs, these groups hoped to prevent the future spread of such diseases and promote good health.
